Our Strategies
Sathiya believes in decentralization of leadership and ensuring a democratic set-up for working so that everyone in the community can be a part of it. For achieving this goal, our strategy is to render leadership qualities to all the community members, especially to women and youth, and to make them aware of all the aspects whether it is Social, Economical or Political. SWS firmly works for ‘Self to Society’ journey of youth and women.
We believe that social and political empowerment directly impacts the economic stability and independence of an individual and society. So our approach is to make women and youth economically stable for which we work for the enhancement of their skills and by training them for entrepreneurship development and market linkages. On the other hand, we focus on educating the community about their constitutional rights and entitlements through interactive and participatory methods.
Being economically empowered directly builds up the self-confidence of women and youth, which in turn ultimately results in the active participation of women and youth in social and political areas.
Our Approach
1. Research
Our team gets on the ground and researches accordingly for community building by forming community groups.
2. Strategize
Our strategy is to focus on capacity building, handholding support and strengthening community groups
3. Test
We work for strengthening the community so that they can become the right holder.
4. Execute
We aim to promote meaningful participation of the community in governance.
5. Refine
We believe in evidence-based advocacy for an accountable and transparent system.
