Access to social security and government entitlement programs remains a challenge for many remote and tribal communities across India. Addressing this critical gap, Sathiya Welfare Society organized an impactful Awareness Campaign on Social Security Schemes and Entitlement on 10th April 2026 in Gonighat under Gram Panchayat Bodhi Junawani, Betul Block, Betul, MP, a remote tribal village located amidst dense forests, approximately 45 kilometers from Betul district headquarter in Madhya Pradesh.
The primary objective of the camp was to ensure that marginalized and underserved populations are connected to essential government welfare schemes. Despite geographical isolation, the camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from villagers, reflecting a growing awareness and willingness to access their rights and entitlements.
One of the key contributions of the camp was the participation of 101 community members while facilitating registration for 94 Sambal Cards, enabling eligible beneficiaries to avail benefits under state-supported social security schemes. This initiative marked a significant step toward financial and social inclusion for the community.

Strengthening Legal Awareness and Access to Justice
A major highlight of the program was the session conducted by Mrs. Meera Singh Raghuvanshi, Government Advocate associated with the District Legal Services Authority, Betul. She provided detailed insights into the provisions of legal aid and compensation schemes.
Villagers were informed that in cases of accidental death, families can apply for compensation ranging from ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh, which can support their livelihood and children’s education. Additionally, she explained the Victim Compensation Scheme, under which financial assistance is provided to women and girls affected by sexual crimes.
The community was also encouraged to participate in Lok Adalat camps, organized every three months at the district court, as an accessible and cost-effective platform for dispute resolution and legal support.
Promoting Social Welfare Schemes for Vulnerable Groups
Officials from the Social Justice Department shared information about various pension schemes designed for vulnerable sections, including elderly individuals, widows, persons with disabilities, and single women. These schemes play a crucial role in ensuring social protection and financial stability for marginalized households.
Ensuring Safety and Awareness for Women and Children
Recognizing the importance of social awareness, social worker Jyoti Bagwe conducted an engaging session focusing on child protection and women’s safety. The discussion covered critical issues such as the prevention of child marriage and awareness about the POCSO Act, empowering community members to safeguard the rights of children and women.

Enhancing Access Through Samagra KYC
Panchayat Assistant Secretary Rashmi Yadav highlighted the importance of completing Samagra KYC, which acts as a gateway for accessing multiple government schemes efficiently. She explained how proper documentation and verification ensure that benefits reach the rightful beneficiaries without delays.
Commitment of Sathiya Welfare Society
During the camp, Ms. Charu Verma, MIS Coordinator of Sathiya Welfare Society, introduced the organization’s work and its efforts to strengthen community linkages with government programs. She emphasized the organization’s ongoing efforts in promoting sustainable livelihoods for women and youth, along with ensuring equitable access to welfare schemes.
The camp was successfully conducted under the guidance and active participation of Project Lead Avinash Trivedi, District Coordinator Jitendra Prajapati, along with local panchayat representatives, Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers, and other key stakeholders.

Building Inclusive and Empowered Communities
This awareness campaign stands as a testament to the power of grassroots engagement in transforming lives. By bridging the gap between government schemes and the community, Sathiya Welfare Society continues to play a significant role in promoting inclusive development, social justice, and community empowerment. Such initiatives not only enhance awareness but also build confidence among marginalized communities to claim their rights and access opportunities that pave the way for a more secure and dignified future.
